Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Cashier/Sales representative. This position plays a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring smooth transactions at our retail store.
Responsibilities
- Operate cash register and handle cash transactions with customers
- Scan goods and collect payments
- Issue receipts, refunds, change, or tickets
- Maintain clean and tidy checkout areas
- Greet customers when entering or leaving the store
- Assist customers in locating products
- Promote loyalty programs and inform customers about discounts
- Manage exchanges and returns
- Perform product demonstrations when required
Requirements
- Proficient in basic math for accurate cash handling
- Ability to supervise and assist with stock management
- Familiarity with retail math for pricing and discounts
- Experience in conducting product demos is a plus
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with customers
- Knowledge of Point of Sale (POS) systems preferred
- Bilingual proficiency is advantageous for customer interactions
- Prior experience in cashiering or sales roles is desirable
- Excellent customer service skills
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $14.00 - $14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
