We are looking for an IT System Administrator . In this role, you will be responsible for the support, administration, and security of the company’s on-site, cloud, and remote site infrastructure. Working with our IT Team, you will provide technical ownership & leadership of corporate applications and security. You will manage, maintain, and implement various corporate applications to drive integration, automation, and productivity. We are looking for someone that enjoys being hands-on, enjoys learning new technology, is interested in tech in the retail industry, and possesses team spirit and excellent customer service skills.
The administrator’s primary responsibility will be to work with the systems team on day-to-day activities and assigned projects. This position will work a hybrid office schedule of Monday / Friday remote and Tuesday through Thursday in office at the Support Center.
The ideal candidate will possess the following :
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline is preferred but not required. At least 3 years of experience may be substituted for a degree.
- Three or more years of experience administering Windows and Linux servers is required.
- Experience with Windows server architecture including Group Policy, DNS, and Active Directory is required.
- Knowledge of scripting to facilitate automation (Powershell) is required.
- Experience administering storage systems is required.
- Experience with Office 365 administration is required.
- Knowledge of networking principles including TCP / IP, DHCP, and Firewall / switch administration is required. (Meraki infrastructure experience a plus)
- Strong troubleshooting skills with various systems and applications is required.
- Experience with administering Azure architecture and systems is required.
- Ability to work with people in all types of positions and have considerable tact in dealing with others is required.
- Ability to learn quickly and tackle new and technically complex problems with courage and tenacity.
- Must have demonstrated ability to assist with emerging problems quickly and with flexibility.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing needs and requirements.
- Must be detail-oriented and be an organized thinker who is service-minded with strong communication & customer service skills.
- Ability to provide proof of authorization to work in the U.S upon accepting an offer of employment.
- Ability to lift 20lbs. when needed.
