What are the responsibilities and job description for the Operations Associate - 1st Shift - Los Angeles - $1,000 Sign-On Bonus position at United Performance Metals?
As an Operations Associate, you will be working with our Machine Operators to create quality parts. You will be introduced to our machinery and trained to safely run them, as well as forklifts and overhead cranes. You will also have the opportunity to master machinery that flattens, slits, and edges stainless steel and high-temp alloys so they can be used in industries such as aerospace, medical devices, and power generation.

Starting Wage: $19 - $22 depending on experience
1ST SHIFT (Monday - Friday, 6AM - 2:30PM)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Following directions from Operators
- General fork truck operator & crane operations & basic material handling
- Assures sufficient supply of goods/inventory control
- Pull material from stock
- Process orders
- Check all specified tolerances
- Package material
- Prepare the order to be shipped
- Return unused material to inventory
- Manage space by consolidating material
- Housekeeping
