Job Purpose: The QC Chemist is an essential part of the Quality Control Team here at United Pharma LLC and is responsible for Quality Control activities such as the tests of materials and finished products, reporting and reviewing the results.

Salary: $64,950 - $85,000 Annual

Duties And Responsibilities
- Follow USP/AOAC or other compendia methods to test raw materials and finished products.
- Perform wet chemistry
- Perform analytical method validation
- Analyzing and entering data into the computer system
- Investigate test results that are out of specification
- Trouble shooting equipment problems
- Sharing general responsibility including housekeeping, equipment maintenance calibration, and general lab support.
- Communicate to other departments all pertinent information to assure raw materials, in process and finished products.
- Assist the Senior Chemist on any and all projects and tasks as it pertains to quality control to include;
- Reports to the QC manager and follow any and all directions, job assignments as directed by the QC manager.
- B.S degree in Science (Chemistry, or Biology)
- Minimum 2 years experience in laboratory setting
- Good working knowledge of Analytical Instrumentation such as HPLC, FT-IR, UV-Vis
- Experience with GC and Mass spectrometry.
- Comprehensive experience with FDA Rules and Regulations.
- Able to work with cross functional departments within the organization
- Must have strong communication skills
