Job Summary:
Our client, a leading company in the biopharmaceutical industry, is seeking an experienced Project Manager to join their team. The company has seen significant growth and acquired a new facility to support their expanding operations. This role will be pivotal in the first phase of developing and optimizing processes for the new facility. The successful candidate will work alongside a technical Project Manager to design, build, and implement new process areas, focusing on user design, process flow, and the identification of necessary additions and classifications. This position offers the opportunity to make a substantial impact in the development of new systems and infrastructure within a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the technical Project Manager to build out new process areas and systems within the new facility.
- Develop and refine project plans, schedules, and strategies to ensure successful facility construction and process implementation.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to evaluate and optimize user design, process flows, and system requirements.
- Ensure smooth project execution by managing timelines, deliverables, and stakeholder communication.
- Support commissioning and qualification efforts as necessary.
- Analyze data and provide actionable insights for continuous process improvement.
- Present project updates, content, and strategic plans to stakeholders at various levels.
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive Project Management experience, ideally in complex facility development or operations management.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess processes and create actionable plans for optimization.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Skilled in developing detailed project plans and presenting findings clearly and effectively.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and deliverables with attention to detail and accuracy.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with drug substance processes (especially in process areas PA5 – 10,000).
- Familiarity with cell culture processes and terminology.
- Biopharmaceutical industry experience, especially in commissioning and qualification of new facilities.
