Job Title : QC Chemist
Location: Research Triangle Park, NC
Are you passionate about ensuring the quality of life-changing therapies? We’re looking for a QC Chemist to join our team in Research Triangle Park, NC, supporting advanced cell and gene therapy programs.
In this role, you’ll combine your analytical chemistry skills with a strong understanding of microbiology, aseptic techniques, and GMP compliance to help us maintain the highest standards of quality and safety in cutting-edge therapies.
🧪 What You’ll Do:
- Perform QC analytical testing (pH, osmolality, conductivity, endotoxin, etc.) on raw materials, in-process, and final products.
- Support aseptic operations in cleanroom environments in collaboration with QC Microbiology.
- Apply microbiological knowledge to interpret test results and ensure product safety.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with GMP and GDP standards.
- Participate in method development, validation, and transfer projects.
- Assist in investigations, deviations, and CAPAs related to QC activities.
✅ What We’re Looking For:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s in Chemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, or related life science field.
- 2 years in a GMP-regulated QC Chemistry role (experience with cell/gene therapy is a plus).
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and cleanroom operations.
- Strong attention to detail, communication skills, and a team-first mindset.
- Experience with basic microbiological concepts and collaboration across QC functions.
