Overview
As a Regulatory Affairs Specialist at our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local regulations. Your expertise in DSCSA, DEA, EPA, HIPAA, and state Board of Pharmacy regulations will be essential in maintaining a strong compliance culture within our long-term care pharmacy.
You will work closely with the Compliance Director, staff, and external partners to develop, implement, and maintain our compliance program, policies, and procedures. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine compliance audits, inspections, and risk assessments to identify potential areas of non-compliance and recommend corrective actions.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures
- Conducting regular audits and risk assessments to ensure compliance
- Monitoring regulatory changes and updating policies accordingly
Qualifications
To be considered for this position, you must have:
- A high school diploma or equivalent
- An active Illinois Pharmacy Technician License
- PTCB or ExCPT certification
- Five years of pharmacy experience, with long-term care (LTC) pharmacy experience preferred
