Sales Merchandiser

Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Sales Merchandiser to join our United Plant Growers team. In this role, you will be responsible for merchandising, maintaining effective product displays, and ensuring efficient inventory management. You will collaborate closely with the sales representative to implement merchandising strategies that drive sales and promote the company’s core values.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with store associates and store management to ensure the garden centers in your assigned stores are beautiful and ready for business every day

· Provide feedback and inventory updates to our internal teams

· Develop an ordering schedule that keeps our space filled with the proper number and variety of plants based on sales for account

· Keep display neat and organized

· Rotate plants to ensure our displays are always fresh and appealing

• Clear away non-salable plants and condense displays to make room for fresh deliveries

· Must use Movista properly to keep track of hours worked. Mandatory lunch break before the fifth hour worked, no exemptions. Reference employee handbook.

Terms and Conditions of employment:

· Punctuality is a must

· Valid driver’s license

· Must have a reliable vehicle

· Must provide proof of Auto insurance

· Maintain a clean driving record

· Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance

· Must be able to perform physical work throughout the workday

· Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 12 per week
