ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Perform a variety of repair and maintenance tasks including, but not limited to carpentry, plumbing, electrical work, painting, HVAC work Clean, lubricate, and service a variety of pumps, valves, pneumatic controls, electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic devicesAssist with installation and modification of building equipment and systemsPerform carpentry, electrical and plumbing tasks Replace and repair building finishes such as ceiling tiles, door hardware, floors, piping, paint walls, and equipmentTroubleshoot, evaluate, and make recommendations to upgrade maintenance operations and / or implement savings opportunitiesPossess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenanceInspect building, grounds, and equipment for unsafe or malfunctioning conditions, preventative maintenance, etc.Maintain and operate fire and life safety systems such as; Fire alarm systems, fire pumps and related fire protection system equipment as assignedSource and coordinate outside contractors when neededComply with all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency, and Company directives as related to building operations and practice safe work habits RequirementsQUALIFICATIONS Technical, vocational or on-the-job training in at least two of the following areas : HVAC, electrical, mechanical, process controls, mechanical power transmissions, painting, plumbing, carpentry 2 years of related experience in an industrial property settingAbility to use technology such as; smart phones, tablets, computers, web-based applications, building automation systems, etc.Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and good driving record with periodic checksBasic Computing Skills in Outlook, Excel & WordAbility to work in a continuous improvement environmentEngineering degree desiredThis employer uses E-Verify.
