Pool Repair Technician

Maintenance Team Members are responsible for the overall maintenance and cleaning of an aquatic facility. Repair Technicians are required for small to moderate repair work on a case-to-case basis. Repair Team Members are responsible for but not limited to:

Primary Responsibilities:

• Upkeep of the swimming facility and pump operations
• Small repairs
• Inventory of chemicals and other supplies
• Moderate pump and filter maintenance
• Service-route responsibilities
• Maintaining chemical levels
• Maintaining salt systems/chlorine generators and error diagnostics
• Moderate repairs (Cartridge and grid changes, spider gasket changes, etc.)
• Interacting with customers and patrons on a daily basis in a professional manner
• Helping Service Technicians diagnose and solve issues that arise in the field

Physical Demands:

Lift up to 100lbs, sit, kneel, stand for long periods, jump, squat, crawl, reach, and drive a vehicle for extended periods, work in summer heat.

Required Qualifications:

• 2 years of experience working professionally in the swimming pool industry or related fields (electrical, plumbing etc.)
• Legal ability to work in the United States
• Reliable transportation to work.
• A working and reliable cell phone
• Criminal history must not include theft or violence related convictions.
• Ability to pass a drug test.
• A valid GA driver's license with a clear driving record.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years professional pool experience
• Has a current Certified Pool Operators certification.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
• On call
• Weekends as needed

Work Location: On the road
