Job Summary
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Lifeguards to ensure the safety and well-being of all guests at our multi guard pool, and a single guard pool, in Mays Landing, NJ. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring pool activities, enforcing safety rules, and providing exceptional guest services. This role requires a proactive approach to pool maintenance and emergency response readiness. Pool is open from 5/24/2025 to 9/01/2025. Hours are 1130am to 8pm and 1030am to 7pm
Duties
- Monitor pool activities to ensure the safety of all swimmers.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations to maintain a safe environment.
- Respond promptly to emergencies, administering first aid and CPR as necessary.
- Conduct regular inspections of the pool area, ensuring cleanliness and proper maintenance.
- Assist with pool cleaning and maintenance tasks, including water quality testing.
- Provide excellent guest services by addressing any concerns or inquiries from patrons.
Skills
- Certification in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid is required. In NY, CPR must be renewed yearly for swimming pools.
- Strong swimming skills with the ability to perform rescues if necessary.
- Knowledge of pool cleaning techniques and equipment maintenance is preferred.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to remain vigilant in monitoring activities.
