Pool Attendant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic CPR certified Pool Attendant to join our team in Brewster, NY . The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety and enjoyment of all guests at the pool area. This role requires excellent customer service skills, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage various tasks efficiently while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere. Pool is open from 5/24/2025 to 9/01/2025 and hours are 930am to 3pm and/or 3pm to 8pm

Responsibilities

• Monitor pool activities to ensure guest safety and compliance with all safety regulations.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting guests, answering questions, and addressing any concerns.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the pool area, including furniture and amenities.
• Conduct regular inspections of pool facilities to ensure they are in good working order.
• Engage with guests through public speaking to provide information about pool activities.
• Manage conflicts or issues that may arise among guests in a professional manner.
• Collaborate with other staff members to create a fun and enjoyable atmosphere for families, including children’s activities.

Experience

• Previous experience in hospitality or customer service is preferred.
• Experience working with children is highly desirable, especially in recreational settings.
• Knowledge of lifeguarding practices or certification is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Skills in conflict management and public speaking will enhance your ability to succeed in this role.
