What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Security Officer (Part Time) position at United Protection Security Service?
We are seeking Unarmed School Security Officers to become an integral part of our team. The selected individual will patrol and secure assigned premises, ensuring the safety of all students and staff during the school year. School Officer will identify risks to staff, visitors, and students.
We are hiring for a Charter School located in North Philadelphia.
Responsibilities:
Appropriately inspect students school bags and conduct pat down
Escort students to and from train station during admission and dismissal
Greet parents, students, and staff upon arrival
Remain in communication with ADMIN at all times
Qualifications:
At least one year of previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
Familiarity with security equipment
Ability to handle physical workload
Must have strong attention to detail
Must have a positive and respectful attitude towards peers and management
Must have excellent work ethic
Must be punctual and dependable
HS Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work with the public
Ability to work with children and youth
Must be able to pass a Mandatory Background Check, Child Abuse clearance, and Random Drug Screening
Must have Open Availability
Reliable means of transportation
*NOTE: While the current post is for Part Time hours, candidates should have open availability in case of needs for our other sites . Part time hours for current position are 25 hours a week . Hours are subject to change.*
