Job Skills / Requirements
The Administrative Assistant/Receptionist handles front office reception and administration including visitor registration, answering phones and routing calls, handling company inquiries, administrative support and general office duties as needed.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
• Answer incoming telephone calls on multiple lines and route calls as appropriate
• Maintain accurate employee and department directories
• Maintain a safe and clean reception area
• Report and follow through on safety and housekeeping issues
• Respond to email and telephone requests in a professional and timely manner
• Provide general office assistance as needed. KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES:
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
• Organizational and time management skills
• Excellent customer service skills
• Ability to communicate effectively in person, on the telephone and in email
• Ability to receive, understand and carry out detailed instructions
• Ability to coordinate multiple activities with varying timeframes and deadlines
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with unexpected changes in requirements
- Help administering drug screenings and background checks.
