Due to tremendous growth in the Fort Worth market, United Protective Services is looking for a Site Security Director to work in Class A building and to lead, manage and direct an outstanding program and team. This is a high visibility position, and we are looking for someone with tremendous vision, interpersonal communication skills, leadership, and a track record of success in a corporate setting.

- Ensure that all administrative functions of the position are done in an accurate and timely manner.
- Review and confirm that access control Lists
- Maintain and review a robust key control policy
- Incident Reports are well written and, Daily Reports, Weekly Payroll, Weekly Officer Schedules, Personnel Actions, Continuing Education Training, Schedules, and all other essential paperwork.
- Establish and maintain professional working relationships with local Police, Fire, EMS, and other authorities.
- Demonstrate a relevant proficiency in the physical, mechanical, communication and emergency services of the premises.
- Remain current with crime and economic trends in the community, participate in community events and network with other security management professionals
- Act as liaison between UPS and the client while maintaining professional balance and boundaries.
- Lead the professional development of the Security Team & Supervisors through effective retention and professional development programs.
- Maintain familiarity with all company Policies and Procedures outlined in UPS Post Orders, Rules, and Regulations Handbook, and be able to communicate this knowledge to employees
- Responsible for evaluation of employees (first 90 days and annual).
- Create and Maintain Post Orders at the site location.
- Responsible for tracking all Texas security licenses for all Energy Square security personnel.
- Create and maintain a filing system of all security related paperwork.
- Responsible for keeping staff retention up and Turnover and Overtime down.
- The turnover standard is 20% annually, and the overtime standard is under 1.5% weekly.
- Give initial counseling of employees for violations of company or site policies through documentation and proactive disciplinary action(s)
- Provide constructive criticism to employees as needed.
- Report and investigate all employee related accidents or injuries and maintain a proactive stance to a safe work environment.
- Represent site location at staff meetings and represent UPS at site meetings.
- Complete daily and weekly reports to be forwarded to the Branch Office.
- Active patrol and other duties as assigned by property specific requirements.
- Maintain company cell phone and email for communication 24 hours per day.
Qualifications:
- Associate or bachelor’s degree in security management, criminal justice, or a related field
- 5 years of experience in physical security management, preferably within a high-rise environment, or prominent security environment.
- Experience with access control systems, video surveillance, and other security technologies.
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing cross-functional teams.
- Proven ability to conduct risk assessments and implement security policies.
- Excellent crisis management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant certifications such as CPP (Certified Protection Professional), PSP (Physical Security Professional), PCI (Professional Certified Investigator) are a plus.
