At United Recovery Project, we are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapeutic Support Worker to join our exceptional team of Mental Health Technicians. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch care to individuals with high acuity mental health disorders.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of mental health disorders, including schizophrenia and bipolar disorder, and have the skills and compassion necessary to work effectively in this environment.

We require all applicants to have a valid driver's license and experience working with individuals who have complex mental health needs. Additionally, candidates must be able to pass a Level 2 government background check.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Report on daily activities and behaviors of patients
  • Safely transport patients
  • Complete intake paperwork
  • Perform body and bag searches
  • Light cleaning
  • Ensure patient safety by being alert to potential hazards
  • Provide structure, boundaries, and a warm and caring environment
  • Work as part of a team to provide exceptional patient care
