Position Purpose:
Responsible for managing the procurement of materials, equipment, and services necessary to support the daily operation as well as capital projects. This role requires the ability to work closely with vendors, contractors, internal cross-functional teams, and project leaders to ensure timely and cost-effective acquisition of goods and services while adhering to departmental and company policies.
Duties / Responsibilities:
- Prepare procurement strategies and execution plans that encompass a full array of services and materials sourcing and their related procurement functions of purchasing, expediting, and logistics of assigned responsibilities.
- Manage daily, warehouse, and capital project procurement services within the department and in conjunction with other department groups.
- Manage vendor invoice processing for timely payment of materials and services procured.
- Ensures project equipment and materials are purchased within budget and in accordance with all project specification and delivery schedule requirements.
- Addresses invoice discrepancies with suppliers and works diligently with external and internal functions to resolve the issues.

- Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Bachelor’s Degree required (Preferred: Engineering, Business, Supply Chain, Finance)
- 3 years of purchasing, supply chain and/or strategic sourcing.
- Proven experience negotiating and implementing contracts with vendors and contractors.
- Knowledge of procurement methods and requirements.
- High proficiency in utilization of Microsoft Office suite (e.g., Excel, Word, Access, Power Point, SharePoint) and ERP systems (Maximo, SAP, Oracle, etc..)

Additional Desired Qualifications:
- Experience in the oil & gas / Energy industry.
- Experience working as part of team in large capital projects.
- Data mining, sorting and visualization experience (PowerBI, Tableau)
