BRANCH WAREHOUSE PERSON
General Summary
Provide support for daily branch operations, i.e. pull orders, and put away stock.
Essential Job Functions
- Pull orders for customers
- Load and unload shipments/deliveries using proper equipment
- Prepare product for shipment via UPS, FedEx and common carrier
- Receive shipments from UPS, FedEx and common carrier
- Handle and process paperwork on damaged product.
- Prepare Returns and Reclaims for shipment including appropriate paperwork
- Break down and put away stock using proper equipment
- Greet customers promptly and courteously by name (if known)
- Answer telephones promptly and courteously identifying yourself and the company
- Regular and punctual attendance
- Other Job Functions
- Assist at counter as needed
- Assist in maintaining a clean and safe work environment inside and out; i.e., empty trash, sweep floors, clean bathroom(s), etc.
- Perform related jobs as required
Skills and Physical Abilities - Equipment - Work Environment
- Ability to carry/lift at least 50 pounds (4-5 hours daily)
- Ability to use computer system as pertains to the job
- Ability to get along with customers and other employees, follow directions and work under pressure
- Forklift
- Overtime as required during off-season and mandatory during season and inventory
- Heated store area/ Unheated warehouse area
- Concrete floors
