Summary of Essential Functions
- Assists and supports the HR team in performing administrative and executive tasks related to HR operations.
- Manages routine and detailed clerical/coordination functions within the department.
- Assists with communication for the HR, Employee Health and Wellness teams.
- Meets deadlines with prompt, thorough approach, with ability to prioritize various requests and complete duties as required.
Educational Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Some college or business school classes preferable.
- Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
- Demonstrates office management, strong computer skills as well as good verbal and written communication skills period
- Ability to follow through on projects for timeliness, completeness and serviceability.
- Maintains ability to be tactful, discreet, diplomatic, and courteous in all dealings with public and employees.
- Must be able to prioritize work according to written or verbal instructions using organizational skills and sound judgment.
Physical Requirements
- Requires prolonged sitting at workstation; moderate walking.
- Requires ability to lift various weights frequently; perform moderately difficult manipulative and hand-eye coordination skills; see objects closely; and hear normal sounds with some background noises.
- Subject to electrical, radiation and biohazards.
- Working under stressful conditions and working irregular hours.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with planning, scheduling in coordinating day-to-day work activities for the HR leadership team.
- Coordinates and arranges meetings, sends notices, and prepares materials.
- May assist with preparation of HR reports as is attendance, new hire, and turnover report.
- Upon request revises policies and procedures for the Department.
- Contributes to the effective management of the department.
- Accurately accounts and coordinates office supplies used in each department.
- Assist with supporting the reception area as needed with answering phones calls, scheduling meetings, greeting customers, etc.
- Performs all other tasks/responsibilities as necessary.
