What are the responsibilities and job description for the Emergency Medicine position at United Regional Health Care System?
We are a democratic 15 partner group looking to hire an additional physician to staff United Regional Health Care System. United Regional is a Level 2 Trauma Center with a 42 bed ER, and 75k annual visits, located two hours NW of Dallas / Fort Worth. We have a very competitive hourly as IC with partnership track as we are looking to add to the practice.
We are a highly stable group (30-year history) with great relations with the hospital with very low turnover of group.
- Relocation fee and sign on bonus given by hospital.
- Turnaround time to disposition typically 2 to 3 hours with 2pph average.
- 10-hour 6 MD shifts with scribes available
- 30-hour APP coverage in fast track.
- Four full time nocturnists with minimal overnight shifts.
- Attached CDU run by senior APPs with physician backup.
- Epic EMR.
- No psych holds and 24-hour ER social work who can place patients directly to nursing homes.
- Amazing relationship with hospitalist group who admits everything and no push back!
- Current or in process Texas license preferred.
- Small town feel with lots to do. S
