Commercial Kitchen Design

Overview
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Kitchen Designer to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of kitchen design principles and be proficient in CAD. You will work closely with clients to create functional and aesthetically pleasing kitchen spaces that meet their needs and preferences and utilizes their space in the most efficient way possible. Candidates will be expected to follow leads generated by the URS sales team as well as generate their own client lists

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and requirements for kitchen spaces.
• Prepare presentations and renderings to effectively communicate design concepts to clients.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, products, and technologies related to kitchen design.
• Foster strong relationships with clients through exceptional customer service and collaboration.
• Build a project bid pipeline and convert designs to equipment sales.
• Take responsibility for the full bid process, from selling contracts to building bid packages.
• Utilize design skills to leverage design/build sales.

Requirements

• Proven experience in kitchen design or a related field.
• Proficiency in design software including CAD and Revit.
• Strong understanding of color theory and lighting design principles.
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
• Experience in remodeling projects is highly desirable.
• Ability to build rapport with clients while guiding them through the design process.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
