Job Title : SIOP Leader
Department : Indirect Production
Classification : Exempt
Summary : The SIOP Leader is responsible for managing a team of Master Schedulers and Shop-Floor schedulers. The qualified individual will be responsible for executing the operations supply planning and decision making process to balance supply and demand. Additionally, this person will be responsible for deployment of all planning and scheduling related standards, tools, and metrics.
Responsibilities : As the SIOP Leader you will :
- Collect and compile all inputs supporting the Operations Capability Review. Including understanding demonstrated performance, management of assumptions, integration of time phased continuous improvement plan, preventative maintenance plan, master data metrics, and forward-looking capacity matrix.
- Be accountable for the management of the Planning team with leadership, target setting, performance reviews, talent management and planning.
- Responsible for the first level of Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
- Collaborate and work closely with customer service, purchasing, engineering, quality and logistics to effectively integrate, maintain and control schedules.
- Liaise with the Integrated Product Team (IPT) for Customers’ Past Dues forecast.
- Ensure the Master Production Schedule (MPS) is balanced regarding internal and external resources capacity and optimized to achieve the lowest overall operational costs.
- Consolidate the MPS of each production area and support the Site Supply Chain Manager.
- Thoroughly understand products, process, procedures, work structure breakdown and manufacturing constraints.
- Provide leadership and prioritization of the scheduling team.
- Observe all rules and safety practices to ensure a hazard-free work environment.
- Align to the United Safety’s “Great Place to Work” value drivers and Principles.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
