Job Description

The Shipping & Receiving Coordinator is a critical role within our operations team at United Scrap Metal, Inc. This individual will be responsible for coordinating and documenting all incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Key Tasks

• Capturing proof of delivery and updating corresponding data in the system of record.
• Coordinating the use of transportation brokers and carriers to achieve cost targets.
• Resolving internal and external issues to maintain departmental efficiency.
• Preparing transportation bills, load authorizations, packaging slips, and other necessary documentation.
