Armed Security Officer Responsibilities
- Verify identification of patrons prior to building entry
- Secures premises and personnel by patrolling property, monitoring surveillance equipment, and access points.
- Investigates security breaches, incidents, and other alarming behavior.
- Interviews witnesses and obtains signatures as needed for incident reports.
- Maintains the organization’s stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.

- SATURDAY, WEDNESDAY, FRIDAY
- SATURDAY: 7:30am to 1:00pm
- WEDNESDAY/FRIDAY: 7:15am to 5:00pm
- 25 Hours a week

Armed Security Officer Qualifications and Skills
Armed Security Officer Qualifications and Skills
- Must be able to STAND for up to 8 HOURS
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Can always stay alert and diligent
- Ability to work in high pedestrian traffic environments
- 3 years law enforcement, active military, or 5 years Armed security experience required
Education and Experience Requirements
- CT Carry Permit (Blue Card)
- CT Armed Security License
- HS Diploma or Higher Education
- CPR / AED Certification
