Dispensary Security Officer Job Responsibilities:
- Patrol: Regularly patrol the dispensary premises, including entrances, exits, parking lots, and internal areas to deter and detect suspicious activities.
- Cameras: Monitor security cameras and alarm systems to identify any unusual or potentially harmful behavior.
- Access Control: Control access points to ensure that only authorized personnel and customers enter the premises.
- Conflict Resolution: Handle disputes or conflicts between customers or between customers and staff calmly and professionally
- Rules: Enforce store policies and regulations, including those related to age verification, purchase limits, and prohibited items.
- Documentation: Record and report violations of dispensary policies or local laws to management.
- Authorized Personnel: Restrict access to sensitive areas, such as vaults or storage rooms, to authorized personnel only
- Collaboration: Communicate effectively with dispensary management and staff to address security concerns and implement safety measures.
- Customer Interaction: Maintain a professional demeanor and communicate clearly with customers to foster a safe and welcoming environment.

Security Officer Qualifications and Skills
- Must be able to stand for up to 10 hours
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Can always stay alert
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 years of security experience
- Customer Service Skills a Must
