Look no further because we are currently seeking Part-Time Event Security Officers to join our growing USI team in BRIDGEPORT, CT.
Event Security Officer Responsibilities:
- Perform access control duties, including ticket verification and guest screening.
- Conduct crowd management to ensure orderly ingress and egress.
- Conduct searches and wand screenings of guests as they enter the venue.
- Monitor assigned areas for any security breaches or unauthorized activities.
- Prevent the unauthorized removal of alcohol from the venue after events.
- Provide assistance and support to guests as needed.
- Collaborate effectively with other security team members and event staff.
- Respond promptly and appropriately to any security incidents or emergencies.
- Follow all established procedures and protocols to maintain the safety and security of the venue.
Work Hours and Schedules:
Event Season will run MAY 2025-SEPTEMBER 2025
$18PH -$19PH (Part-Time / Per Diem)
Weekend & Evening Availability Required
Security Officer Qualifications and Skills
- Prior experience in security or a related field is preferred but not required.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations.
- Flexibility to work evening shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform required duties.
- Willingness to adhere to all company policies and procedures.
- Standing for extended periods and working outdoors in various weather conditions required.
- Shift durations are generally 4 hours, with occasional longer shifts depending on event schedules.
- Successful candidates must be reliable, punctual, and committed to upholding the highest standards of professionalism and integrity.
Education and Experience Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Active CT Security License required
- Flexible Schedule with Evening & Weekend Availability
