Job Summary: USI is seeking high level security officers for a hospital campus. Job duties may include performing security patrols of designated areas by foot, observing for any conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards, maintaining access control of premises and monitoring entrances and exits, performing patient restraints and verbal de-escalation. Security Officers provide high level of customer service and assistance to clients, client employees and visitors in a polite and professional manner.

All Candidates Must Bring the Following for Potential Hire:
- Copy of Resume
- Two Forms of Identification (Passport, Birth Certificate, SS Card, Driver's License, Identification Card, School ID, etc.)
- Copy of HS Diploma, Transcripts OR Higher Education Credentials
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MUST have hospital or concierge security experience
- Exceptional Customer Service
- Customer service experience preferred
- Speak clearly and concisely
- Ability to keep a neat and organized workstation
- High School Diploma or GED
- Ability to sit or stand for long periods of time
- Ability to conduct foot patrols frequently
Responsibilities include:
- Patrol buildings and grounds to ensure campus is secure and safe.
- Identify leaks and spills, inspect doors and locks on site to prevent potential hazards.
- Assist in managing crisis situations, such as aggressive behavior from patients or visitors, use conflict resolution techniques to de-escalate tense situations and have the ability to perform patient restraints when required.
- Interact with patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner, providing assistance and directions when needed.
- Provide a high level of customer service to client and all client employees, visitors and patients.
- Knowledgeable of and adhere to all rules and regulations, policies, and orders.
- Maintain order and enforce hospital rules and regulations to uphold a safe and respectful environment for all individuals on the premises.
- Perform daily activity reports and incident reports when necessary.
- Projects a positive image in dress and decorum.
Skill Requirements:
- Position requires excellent verbal & written communication skills.
- Must have experience in providing detailed incident reports.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Ability to be a team player and work in a team environment.
- Maintain the highest ethical and professional standards.
- Must be able to multi-task and self-manage in a fast-pace, dynamic environment.
