Job Summary: USI is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Security Account Manager to oversee security operations for a psychiatric hospital campus. The successful candidate will manage a team of 35 direct reports, ensuring the safety and security of patients, staff, and visitors. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a thorough understanding of security protocols in a healthcare setting.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- MUST have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a healthcare security setting
- MUST have at least 5 years' experience in security management
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite (excel, word, etc.)
- Proficiency in payroll management and data entry
- High School Diploma or GED
Responsibilities include:
- Supervise and manage a team of 35 security personnel, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Develop and implement security policies and procedures to ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Conduct regular security audits and risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate with hospital administration and other departments to address security concerns and ensure compliance with regulations.
- Respond to security incidents and emergencies, providing leadership and support to the security team.
- Maintain accurate records of security activities, incidents, and investigations.
- Ensure all security personnel are trained in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Monitor and manage security equipment and systems, ensuring they are functioning properly.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork and professional development.
