Job Title : Payroll Tax Specialist
Introduction :
We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Payroll Tax Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of payroll taxes across federal, state, and local levels, with a focus on multi-state jurisdictions. This role will involve handling SDI (State Disability Insurance) and TDI (Temporary Disability Insurance) filings, along with ensuring compliance and accuracy in all payroll tax processes. Experience with ADP payroll systems is essential for success in this position.
Key Responsibilities :
- Payroll Tax Compliance : Ensure accurate and timely filing of federal, state, and local payroll taxes in accordance with applicable regulations.
- Multi-State Taxation : Process and manage payroll taxes across multiple state jurisdictions, understanding the unique tax requirements for each state.
- SDI & TDI Filings : Handle SDI (State Disability Insurance) and TDI (Temporary Disability Insurance) filings for relevant states, ensuring compliance with state-specific guidelines.
- ADP Payroll Systems : Utilize ADP payroll software to process payroll and manage payroll tax filings efficiently. Experience with ADP Workforce Now and ADP Tax Filing is preferred.
- Reconciliation and Reporting : Perform reconciliations of payroll taxes, generate tax reports, and ensure all liabilities are paid on time.
- Stay Current on Tax Laws : Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changing payroll tax regulations and ensure the company remains in compliance.
- Audit Support : Assist with internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and reports related to payroll taxes.
