Position: Electrical Project Foreman

Location: Ventura County, and select areas of Santa Barbara and Los Angeles Counties

Duties Include

• Supervise electricians on-site - developing and maintaining a highly motivated team of 2-5 technicians
• Superior knowledge of NEC code requirements
• Manage daily execution of work - directing or training workers to install, maintain, or repair electrical wiring, equipment, and/or fixtures
• Install or troubleshoot electrical systems, general wiring, lighting and controls, power distribution systems - assessing all options available and take the necessary steps to resolve any obstacles or issues
• Inspection of electrical systems, equipment, or components to identify hazards, defects, or the need for adjustment or repair to ensure compliance with codes
• Ability to read and interpret plans and initiate revisions when applicable
• Coordinate with the Project Manager on electrical system layout and plan
• Material acquisition for projects per plan layout
• Ensure work is performed per code and drawings
• Prepare clear and accurate job progress reports to the Project Manager
• Track hours and maintain project schedules - coordinate daily work activities
• Ensure safety and quality control on the job site
