Job description - Kitchen Utility Worker - Jimmy John's Field
Position Overview:
In the role of Kitchen Utility Worker you will help assist in the daily needs of the kitchen production. This includes communication with designated managers, cleanliness of prep & dish areas, assisting in daily prep as needed.
- Prepare, wash and store dishes following kitchen procedures. Also includes cleaning the dishwashing area & food- serving areas and equipment.
- Assist with food preparation as assigned and work as part of the Food Services team to ensure smooth, efficient, and safe operation of the kitchen.
- As needed assist with putting away deliveries.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Removal of trash & grease in designated areas.
Qualifications:
- High School education or equivalent
- General knowledge of cleaning and sanitation
- General knowledge of safe food-handling practices
- Effective communication skills in English
- Ability and willing to follow standards and procedures, and accept direction & training and work as part of a team
Job Type: Seasonal
Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 35 per week
