Position : Sales Support Consultant- Automotive Manufacturing (CAD, CATIA)

Location : Detroit, MI

Duration : Contract / Full Time

Job Requirements

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor degree / Diploma in Business or engineering preferred.
• Minimum 5 years' work experience in automotive manufacturing - sales, purchasing, quality or production field,
• Must be familiar with a clear understanding / exposure - on the sales cycle from OEM's to Tier 1's - Quotation processes, Response with details like part cost, tooling cost, capital investments, packaging and other standard requirements with global OEM's
• Exposure to Auto CAD - Catia V5 to collect design inputs like BOM, coating / surface protection details for parts, etc is preferred
• Should be familiar with how OEM's conduct business with Tier 1 suppliers - processes, customer and supplier portals, exposure to customer systems would be added advantage
• Good understanding of component cost structures, Tooling cost structures
• proficient with Microsoft Office Products to analyze data and trends, prepare written correspondence and presentations
• organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
• ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
• High level of commitment, sound judgment, great follow-through, and initiative
• Capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professional demeanor.
• A demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment, to be proactive, to work independently of day-to-day supervision.
