Position : Sales Support Consultant
Location : Detroit, MI

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor degree / Diploma in Business or engineering preferred.
- Minimum 5 years' work experience in automotive manufacturing - sales, purchasing, quality or production field,
- Must be familiar with a clear understanding / exposure - on the sales cycle from OEM's to Tier 1's - Quotation processes, Response with details like part cost, tooling cost, capital investments, packaging and other standard requirements with global OEM's
- Exposure to Auto CAD - Catia V5 to collect design inputs like BOM, coating / surface protection details for parts, etc is preferred
- Should be familiar with how OEM's conduct business with Tier 1 suppliers - processes, customer and supplier portals, exposure to customer systems would be added advantage
- Good understanding of component cost structures, Tooling cost structures
- proficient with Microsoft Office Products to analyze data and trends, prepare written correspondence and presentations
- organizational and communication skills, both oral and written.
- ability to handle multiple projects in a fast paced environment.

- Capable of meeting deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professional demeanor.
