What are the responsibilities and job description for the Archer Developer position at United Software Group?
Providing technical design, development, testing and deployment for the Agile Archer GRC technical platform;
Developing scalable, open applications using Java for triggers and JSP custom screens, C# for REST API integration and JavaScript for custom objects;
Performing RSA Archer platform architecture, design, development, deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting risk management business functions and assessment use-cases for Loss Events Management, Product Risk Assessment, Issue Management, Enterprise Management and Business Continuity Management);
Performing server side configuration management of RSA Archer Control Panel (installation, instance migration and version upgrades);
Performing API interfaces development for Integration with RSA Archer; and implementing NIST, ISO 31000 Series, COSO and OCTAVE Risk Management frameworks;
Utilizing object scripting languages (jQuery, JavaScript, HTML and CSS);
Building, maintaining and visualizing risk models for inherent risk and residual risks using data analytics;
Designing and developing secure automated solutions to ensure data integrity and security;
Developing C# programs using RegEx, Arrays, Hash tables, multi-threading, and asynchronous tasks to manage job engine, configuration engine, as part of RSA Archer services in both Windows hosted Application and Web servers;
Developing scripts to monitor day-to-day maintenance of applications and alert pertinent teams automatically when it fails or falls out of schedule;
Utilizing the RSA Archer platform to perform and co-ordinate development activities to fulfill business requirements
Designing, developing, and testing the overall workflows of important use-cases related to the bank which help to analyze, test, calculate and mitigate any risks or threats that have emerged.
Using Informatica to transform the data, SQL Server to define the data model and Archer to simplify and display the data for business units to work and report upon;
Creating test-cases and plans as per requirements and capturing and logging test results as a part of System Integration Testing (SIT);
Debugging any issues that have been raised as part of testing and providing optimal solutions;
Translating business cases into a detailed functional and technical design in the Functional Design Document (FDD) and Detailed Design Document (DDD) respectively;
Designing of architecture of new and existing modules as per business requirement, which involves coordinating with various System Managers that will be involved in the interfaces being developed;
Designing and developing relational databases for collecting and storing data which is used to build and maintain data input and data collecting mechanisms;
Preparing and visualizing risk mitigation plans for the Systems Manager to see through project milestones and status deck update for senior management;
Participating in requirement review meetings, raise queries, seek clarification on the Artifacts / Business requirement document and performing feasibility review on the technical solution;
Using tools like Confluence, JIRA to track and document requirements; and creating mind-maps using XMind, workflow diagrams using Visio and yED tools, to gather every aspect of business communication to define the scope of development;
Interpreting data from complex data sources like Qualys, CMDB, Ariba and convert it into information which will offer ways to improve the business by taking the right business decisions;
Performing reporting and analysis of GRC Information to identify gaps in the completeness and accuracy of GRC Content as well as risk trends in need of escalations to business units, risk management committees or Operational Risk Management leadership;
Evaluating current process and data routines and find ways to improve data-feeds / jobs efficiency; and performing root cause and impact analysis to identify any impact to the applications / analytics platform / data-feeds;
Scheduling, synchronizing, and deploying weekly and monthly patches on the windows servers for both RSA Archer and MS SQL Server;
Influencing business and technology roadmaps for products / solutions by working in close collaboration with business, technology partners and vendors;
Developing and displaying sound data integration and engineering practices in delivering business capabilities and data solutions;
Proactively keeping up to date on data-related technologies that could drive positive change and seeking opportunities to share knowledge with others
