Job Description :
The BI Administrator is responsible for the installation, maintenance, and administration of the Business Intelligence reporting tools used to query and analyze data systems.
- Install, upgrade, configure, and maintain BI tools.
- Troubleshoot & Resolve Job Failures related to the platform.
- Troubleshoot priority incidents and root cause analysis.
- Standardize and automate reporting processes and mechanisms using scripts, command-line utilities, or maps.
- Coordinate with Vendor support for issue resolution, patches, and bug fixes.
- Work with infrastructure teams to ensure an effective operating environment. This includes throughput analysis, capacity planning, ongoing optimization, and tuning of BI tools and environment.
- Setting up LDAP and Users / Groups Creation, Access Management (Privileges and Permissions)
- Support disaster recovery testing and implement disaster recovery functions.
- Coordinate with development and infrastructure groups to prepare and implement planned maintenance outages.
- Design and implement monitoring and alerting strategies to enforce application SLAs.
- Work with development teams throughout the software life cycle ensuring sustainable software releases.
- Experience in the following BI Tools : Business Objects, Cognos, Informatica, Reinsurance Master, Alteryx, Informatica Intelligence Cloud Service, Oracle Business Intelligence
- Location Requirement - Los Angeles (3 days / week onsite)
