GIS Developer
Location : 4034 Fairview Industrial Dr SE, Salem, Oregon 97302 - Hybrid (Candidate Must Be Local)
Description : GIS Developer to recreate the internal Sage-Grouse Habitat Quantification Tool (HQT) from ArcGIS 10.5 into ArcGIS Pro. The candidate will follow disciplined software development processes, ensuring proper links to internal and external data sources and updating manuals and user guides.
Primary Tasks :
Recreate Sage-Grouse Habitat Quantification Tool (HQT) in ArcGIS Pro.
Ensure proper linking and interaction with internal and external data sources.
Coordinate and perform beta and user acceptance testing, deployment, and bug fixing.
Update system manuals, user guides, and database metadata.
Potential Secondary Tasks :
Incorporate enhancements based on requirements.
Create GIS web and mobile applications.
Ensure systems interact with data sources.
Conduct beta and user acceptance testing, deployment, and bug fixing.
Update manuals, user guides, and database metadata.
Requested Skills and Experience :
Bachelor's degree in a related area.
5 years of experience with relational databases, client-server concepts, and web development.
