What you'll be doing :
The Mule Wiring Design & Release Engineer (DRE) is responsible to lead the design of wire harness and electrical distribution systems while working with supplier CAD and Engineering Support teams, global Engineering, Program Management, and Manufacturing teams as required to design and build mule and prototype vehicles. Responsibilities include :
- Read and interpret vehicle wiring drawings and schematics
- Translate OEM wiring requirements into 2D wiring drawings
- Root cause electrical wiring issues
- Assess and package harness designs
- Provide technical interface to the advanced wiring team
- Attend design reviews / coordination meetings
