Primary Responsibilities
- Maintain a high level of accuracy and a professional and courteous attitude with staff and business contacts.
- Maintain knowledge of the company’s philosophy, rules, and policies; reflect these in all activities and interactions with co-workers, clients, and the public to ensure confidentiality.
- Downloads payroll from State of Florida website and bond redemption tables from the Federal Reserve.
- Originates, edits and posts ECU and USC payrolls.
- Verifies statements to optical and FTPs to processors.
- Loads FTP’s various tables as needed, such as ISO tables, savings bonds tables, etc.
- Runs monthly reports and FTP’s data to other processors.
- Notify supervisor(s) of errors or equipment stoppage.
- Install application software and before implementation, send written notifications to staff and client credit unions.
- Handle service requests/Striven items of client credit unions.
- Meets with supervisor and staff to determine the impact of proposed software changes.
- Maintains documentation and instructions to provide accurate understanding of the purpose and operational procedures.
- Handle e-mail and written requests from clients for tables and parameters additions, deletions, and modifications.
- Complete stamped completion information on request. Copy, file and distribute request on same day as completed according to procedure.
- Prepares monthly client service calendar.
- Prepares data processing month-end schedule.
- Verifies that reports and other outputs are complete before release.
- Provides technical support to develop staff and system users so that operational problems are resolved quickly without significant interruption to service.
- Trains computer operators in the operation of computers, peripheral equipment, and off-line auxiliary equipment.
- Assists and backs up operators on an "as needed" basis. Is cross trained in all areas of computer operations.
- Assists credit union clients in using the computer system.
- Maintains ongoing communication with supervisor, informing him/her of all pertinent problems, irregularities, new development, changes and other important information within area of responsibility.
- Notify data processing vendor or maintenance personnel if unable to locate and correct cause of an error or failure.
- Assists in solving malfunctions of system hardware and software.
- Perform other duties as assigned and support all areas of the company and its affiliates.
