Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role for a Branch Manager at United Southern Bank in Wildwood, FL. The Branch Manager will oversee the daily operations of the branch, manage staff, provide exceptional customer service, drive business development, develop and maintain consumer and commercial loan portfolios, and ensure compliance with banking regulations.
Position responsibilities:
- Develop service and retain the customer base of the branch by providing loan and deposit products as well as referring trust, investment and mortgage request to the appropriate departments
- Underwrite and assist in the underwriting of loans
- Build and manage a customer service-oriented staff
- Business development through an organized calling effort and community involvement
- Comply with all BSA and compliance regulations, rules, acts & laws
Qualifications
- Experience in branch operations, staff management, and customer service
- Strong financial acumen and understanding of banking regulations
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- 5 years banking experience is a must
- Business or related degree is a plus
