What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sr. Estimator position at United Staffing Associates?
United Staffing Associates is partnered with a client seeking a Sr. Estimator with Underground Utility experience. You will be working with a growing business managing all aspects of the estimating and bidding process up until hand-off to the Project Managers. The role will be based in San Luis Obispo County but will have projects all the way up to Northern CA. Bring your Civil Engineering skills to a great team and help play a part in building a successful business.
Responsibilities of the Sr. Estimator :
- Create detailed cost estimates using HCSS
- Work directly with subcontractors and suppliers
- Visit project work sites to clarify scope of the work
- Participate in pre-proposal meetings
- Evaluate projects constructability
- Plan scope of work, crew size, schedules, materials, and subcontracting
- Formulate “go” and “no go” decision process
- Responsible for bid documentation and submittal
- Manage preliminary construction schedule
- Prepare RFI’s
- Work with stakeholders in developing strategies and competitive differences to secure the project
Requirements :
Pay : $95,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
