Licensed Master Social Worker

United Staffing Solutions, a leader in the healthcare staffing industry, is seeking compassionate and dedicated Licensed Master Social Workers. This role involves working with diverse populations, providing crisis intervention, and facilitating access to essential services. The Social Worker will play a crucial role in promoting mental health, well-being, and social justice within the community.

Pay: $40/hr depending on experience

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the needs of newly admitted residents and their families, identifying ongoing treatment issues.
• Participate in comprehensive team meetings, representing the psychosocial and emotional concerns of residents and families.
• Develop and maintain collaborative relationships with other professional disciplines to enhance social work functions and improve resident care.
• Participate in meetings related to resident/family issues as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, as well as facility policies and procedures.
• Engage in in-service education programs to stay current on best practices.
• Act as a liaison between residents, families, and facility staff to address problems and concerns.
• Assist residents and families in securing appropriate services for safe and timely discharges.
• Perform other social service-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications:

• LMSW required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related setting.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively with an interdisciplinary team.
• Bilingual skills are a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with residents, families, and staff.
