Job Description & Requirements Specialty : PCU - Progressive Care Unit Discipline : RN Start Date : 03 / 03 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift : 12 hours, nights Employment Type : Travel Tell us about the unit(s) : Number of Beds – 345 – 3 time Magnet Designation Number of Staff – float pool is about 80 Type of staff : Day Shift – RN and CNAs on most units Night Shift – RNs and CNAs on most units Patient Ratios – 1 : 5 days and nights varies between units Type of equipment - various EMR - Meditech Typical hiring profile Skill Set Most recruited for : (Travel RNs, local CNAs and sitters) Must have : candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. BLS ACLS Preferred or nice to have : candidates with these skills will be considered first. Strong Tele experience , must be 2 years Nice to Have - Chemo Certification (would be able to schedule on our Oncology unit) List typical procedures performed on unit(s) : Varies between units – Large Cardiac Population – what 2 Tele Floors and a PCU Floating to all inpatient Med / Tele and Rehab units Best personality Fit : Flexibility and willingness to float Team player and compassion is a must Great leaning opportunity to learn to care for patients with varied medical issues both acute and chronic.
