Requirements and Qualifications
- Must be 17–42 years of age and a U.S. citizen
- Obtain a qualifying ASVAB score (60 Mechanical or 57 Electronics)
- Complete basic munitions systems course
- Possess normal color vision, depth perception, and no record of untreated emotional instability or domestic violence
- Hold a valid state driver's license to operate government motor vehicles
Additionally, candidates must complete a National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks, and Credit, as well as 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training.
