The job requires a deep understanding of internal hardware components such as valves, lines, gauges, and controls. You must be able to diagnose and repair fuel system malfunctions quickly and accurately.
To excel in this position, you should have completed appropriate Aircraft Fuel Systems courses and possess normal color vision. Additionally, you must meet the age requirement and obtain a qualifying ASVAB score.
Requirements
- Must be at least 17 years old but not have reached 42 years of age on the date of enlistment
- Normal color vision
- Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training
