What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cart Attendant position at United States Air Force?
This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Moose Run Golf Course on Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.
This is a Seasonal position Not-To-Exceed 31-OCT-2025.
This position is Flexible, meaning you are guaranteed a minimum of 0 hours per week to a maximum of 40 hours per week. Your schedule will depend on needs of the facility.
Performs simple golf cart maintenance (i.e. replenishes fuel/charge levels, washes), readies golf carts for customer use, including pulling golf carts to the proper staging area for daily and tournament play. Ensures that all carts are free of debris, clean, and in good working order. Cleans and inspects rental equipment (golf clubs and pull carts). Removes debris around buildings, waters lawns around buildings, and empties all garbage containers around and in the buildings. Assists in the maintenance of course grounds and facilities using simple powered equipment such as clippers, weed trimmers, pressure sprayers, powered pavement vacuums, and wet vacuums or steam cleaners. Picks up range balls from the driving range with mechanized equipment, also washes golf balls and loads dispensing machine. Cleans glass partitions, mirrors, and inside and outside windows using stepladders and extension ladders. Maintains restrooms in a clean, orderly and sanitary condition. Cleans, disinfects, and deodorizes lavatories, urinals, and toilet bowls. Replaces deodorizers, toilet tissue, hand towels, and soap. Maintains supply of cleaning materials and advises supervisor when more supplies are needed.
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a background investigation with favorable results.
- The duties of this position require the incumbent to possess or obtain and maintain a valid state Driver's License in one of the 50 U.S. states or possessions to operate vehicles.
- This position requires shift work to provide coverage on evenings, weekends, holidays, or special situations.
- U.S. Citizens and Non-U.S. Nationals who have resided in the U.S. Territory for three (3) or more consecutive years immediately preceding the start of Federal affiliation.
- This position requires the incumbent to complete a pre-employment physical.
