Job Requirements
- Meet several requirements prior to joining the Air Force, which concern background, overall health, and standards set by the Air Force, Department of Defense, and federal law.
Minimum Education and Qualifications
- A Bachelor's degree with a secured placement in medical school or a medical degree with a secured placement in a residency program, or Board Certification.
- Completion of Officer Training School (OTS), Air Force Academy (AFA) or Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC).
- Must be at least 17 years old but have not reached age 42 on the date of enlistment.
