Eligibility Requirements
To be eligible, candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Hold a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathy degree from an accredited U.S. school of medicine or osteopathy
- Be a Foreign graduate with a permanent certificate from the Educational Council of Foreign Medical Graduates
- Hold a current license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia, or Puerto Rico
- Be eligible for board certification
- Complete at least one year of an approved Graduate Medical Education (GME) internship
- Complete a training program in anesthesiology
- Be a U.S. citizen for Active Duty
- Have at least a permanent U.S. residency for Army Reserve
