Summary You will serve as a Senior Electronics Technician in the N3 Operations Directorate, N39 SIGINT / IO / EW Division, N39 Global Signals Analysis Lab (GSAL) of US FLEET CYBER COMMAND. All Defense Intelligence positions under the Defense Civilian Intelligence Personnel System (DCIPS) are in the excepted service by specific statute, 10 U.S.C. 1601. This position is in the excepted service and does not confer competitive status. Responsibilities You will make recommendations to command leadership on the best technical solutions for replacing obsolete equipment, improving technical capability, and increasing world-wide connectivity. You will serve as representative at coordination meetings with US and foreign partner site leadership and installation experts. You will hold responsibility for all technical and material issues during system installations and upgrades. You will perform tests and evaluations on electronic components including factory and site acceptance in accordance with acquisition guidelines. You will serve as the Asset Management Systems (AMS) coordinator and classified material / CMS custodian as required. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GG / GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Prepare electronic system plans and integration procedures required to support the installation of new concepts and systems documentation; Coordinate all requirements with site logistics, facilities and maintenance personnel to ensure correct, efficient and safe installation; Install equipment according to electronics equipment's standards and site criteria and regulations, addressing challenges as they arrive.
