Summary You will serve as a LOGISTICS MANAGEMENT SPECIALIST in the SUBMARINE READINESS SQUADRON 36 of NAVSUBSUPPCEN. Responsibilities You will be SRS-36s Approving Official (AO) for the Department of the Navy’s Consolidated Card Program Management Division (CCPMD). You will serve as a program manager, analyst, advisor, technical and subject matter expert for the Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) Program. You will serve as the command expert on all systems utilized to include the current GCPC banking system. You will be responsible to provide technical guidance, training, advice and assistance to subordinate GCPC card holders. You will be responsible to provide operational logistics oversight to the supply operations of all assigned submarines. You will assist the SRS 36 Logistics Specialists and Culinary Specialists in devising appropriate and relevant training and assistance for the submarine’s supply departments. You will be responsible to monitor the submarine supply department and ensure timely reporting on all requirements. You will be responsible to assess logistical readiness and develop corrective action plans for assigned submarines. You will be responsible to provide financial management to all assigned submarines as well as manage the Staff Operating Budget (OPTAR) for the command and supported Submarine Squadrons. You will be responsible to take appropriate action to ensure optimal logistics support for assigned units in each phase of the Fleet Response Plan. You will be responsible to monitor all high priority requisitions, to include Not Operationally Ready, Supply / Anticipated Not-Operationally-Ready Supply (NORS / ANORS) requisitions, for assigned units. You will collaborate with Item Managers to facilitate the expediting of material requirements of assigned submarines and the IMA to ensure operational commitments are met. You will track all Material Support Problem Identification Sheets (MSPIS), Fleet Consolidated Shipboard / Shore-Based Allowance List (COSAL) Feedback Report (FCBR), and Allowance Change Requests (ACR) submitted by supporting units. You will be responsible to administer the Continuous Monitoring Program (CMP) for all assigned submarines. You will provide direct logistics support to the Intermediate Maintenance Activity (IMA / TRF) to include material identification, procurement, and expediting of routine and emergent requirements. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Experience applying knowledge of submarine logistics systems, supply principles, practices and theories. Experience monitoring and tracking submarine supply operations, financial records, requisitions, provisions orders, and related data to ensure adherence to logistics policy and procedures. Experience applying knowledge of elated logistics systems (such as STARS, R-Supply, OneTouch, WebVLIPS) to analyze problems from an overall systems application. Experience applying knowledge of Supply Financial regulations to provide financial management of all assigned submarines and for management, receipt, and distribution of funds for all Kings Bay submarines and staff funds Experience applying extensive knowledge of the DODs FIAR requirements and efforts. Experience utilizing NAVSUP Procurement Request Tool (ProTrack) for submitting procurement requirement packages desired.
