The Research Assistant will provide research and support to the Gandhi-King Global Academy (Online) program
Pay: $17.50 - 18.50
Work schedule: 20 Hours/Week
Expected Start Date: January 2025 - May 2025
RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist GKGA in the design and development of a new suite of education and training to serve peacebuilding practitioners worldwide. Research duties will support the following initiatives.
Although USIP's Research Assistant program is administered through the Consortium of Universities in the Washington Metropolitan area, any full-time university student based in the U.S. is eligible for these positions.
All USIP contract and employee positions are contingent upon the favorable completion of a suitability background investigation.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist GKGA in the design and development of a new suite of education and training to serve peacebuilding practitioners worldwide. Research duties will support the following initiatives.
- Market research and analysis.
- Needs assessment for new educational products.
- Branding and communications.
- Marketing and outreach efforts.
- Create original social media content.
- Must be a full-time graduate student in the Washington Metro Area, preferably studying international relations, political science, governance, international peace and conflict resolution, or a related field.
- Excellent research, editing, and writing skills.
- Business and/or marketing expertise.
- Previous research and office experience required.
- Business or business related education is a plus.
